Volunteer Information

There are a myriad of ways to volunteer at Rummel Creek that help support our students curriculum and experiences. The opportunities range from room mom and classroom assistance to helping on committees such as Fall Festival, Hands on Science or grade level performances. Without our wonderful volunteers many of the programs at school would not be possible. Besides the benefit of supporting your child’s education, you will meet so many great people.   In addition, a multitude of tasks can be done from home so if you are unable to be on campus during school hours there are many ways you can still help.    See the index of Programs and Committees for a complete listing of all PTA sponsored events.

How do I become a volunteer?

All volunteers must register every year through the SBISD website.  Regardless of the classroom or school activity that you will be working on, even just volunteering your your child's class, it is required by the district to fill out a Volunteer Registration Form.  It only takes a few minutes and you will just need to do it one time per year.
